They apparently want consumers to believe that they enhance and safeguard the health of the public by ensuring that medicines and medical devices work, and are acceptably safe.
Acceptably Safe? They are having a laugh at our expense! The MHRA (and pharmaceutical companies) are complicit of scientific and ethical fraud!
The purpose of this website is to expose the MHRA for what it really is, a corrupt Government Drug Regulatory Agency, 100% funded by the pharmaceutical industry it is charged with regulating and which lacks impartiality, daily placing the lives of millions of at risk children in peril Just recently a member of the EMEA (Dr Ian Hudson, Director of Licensing with the corrupt MHRA) in conjunction with his colleagues decided that Prozac was safe to be prescribed to children despite all other drugs of the SSRI class of antidepressants being deemed a suicide risk in children and adolescents aged under 18 years.
The Chairman of the MHRA Sir Professor Breckenridge is known to play the stock market, a serious conflict of interest, and breach of the Civil Service Code of Conduct. Not only that but both he and the Director of Licensing Dr Ian Hudson are previous employees of GlaxoSmithKline, the manufacturer of the suicide causing antidepressant Seroxat. Dr Ian Hudson freely admits to holding significant interests in Paroxetine, the generic name of Seroxat until 2001 when he joined the MHRA from GlaxoSmithKline in his previous role as 'Director of World Safety'.
These individuals and other members of the MHRA are insidious characters who are not to be entrusted with the lives of consumers. A fully impartial review is needed of the Government Drug Regulatory Agency MHRA.
